Responsibilities
Executives & Management: Managers and supervisors play a crucial role in promoting awareness and fostering an inclusive workplace. They are responsible for leading by example, ensuring compliance with this policy, and promptly addressing any concerns or incidents related to discrimination, harassment, or bias.
Employees & Contractors: All employees are expected to familiarize themselves with this policy, respect their colleagues' differences, and treat each other with dignity, fairness, and professionalism. Employees should actively contribute to creating an inclusive work environment by challenging bias and reporting any observed or experienced incidents of discrimination or harassment.
Training and Education
Diversity and Inclusion Training: The company plans to provide regular training to employees to increase their awareness of diversity, inclusion, and unconscious biases. This training will promote understanding, empathy, and the skills necessary to create an inclusive and respectful workplace.
Cultural Competency Training: Employees may also receive cultural competency training to enhance their understanding of different cultures, religions, and practices, fostering a more inclusive and culturally sensitive work environment.
Reporting and Investigation
Reporting: Employees who believe they have experienced or witnessed discrimination, harassment, or bias should promptly report the matter to their supervisor, manager, human resources representative, or any designated contact person within the organization. Multiple reporting channels will be provided to ensure accessibility and confidentiality.
Investigation: The company will promptly and thoroughly investigate all reports of discrimination, harassment, or bias. Investigations will be conducted impartially, respecting the rights and privacy of all parties involved. Appropriate actions will be taken based on the investigation findings, which may include disciplinary measures up to and including termination of employment.
Adherence to this policy is a condition of employment. Any employee found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
