Code of Conduct
Theft or Fraud
a. Employees shall not engage in any form of theft, embezzlement, or fraudulent activity, including but not limited to misappropriation of company funds, unauthorized use or removal of company assets, or falsification of records.
b. Any suspicion or evidence of theft or fraud must be reported immediately to the appropriate supervisor, manager, or the designated contact person. Such reports will be treated confidentially, and the company will investigate all allegations thoroughly.
Damaging Company Property:
a. Employees are expected to exercise care and responsibility in handling and using company property, including equipment, facilities, vehicles, and supplies. Intentional damage, vandalism, or unauthorized use of company property is strictly prohibited.
b. Any damage to company property must be reported promptly to the appropriate supervisor, manager, or designated contact person, providing all relevant details for proper assessment and resolution.
Sharing Company Secrets:
a. Employees have a duty to protect and preserve the confidentiality of company trade secrets, intellectual property, financial information, customer data, and any other proprietary or confidential information.
b. Unauthorized sharing, disclosure, or use of company secrets, whether intentional or accidental, is strictly prohibited. Employees must adhere to any non-disclosure agreements or confidentiality agreements they have signed.
Relationships between Managers and Lower-Level Employees
a. To maintain a fair and professional work environment, relationships between managers and lower-level employees should be conducted with the utmost professionalism, integrity, and respect.
b. Managers must not engage in relationships that may compromise their objectivity, create conflicts of interest, or violate company policies. In such cases, appropriate actions, such as reassignment or reporting the relationship, may be required.
Unscheduled Absences or Chronic Lateness:
a. Employees are expected to adhere to their assigned work schedules, including arrival and departure times. Unscheduled absences, chronic lateness, or frequent tardiness disrupt business operations and can negatively impact team productivity.
b. Employees must notify their immediate supervisor or manager as soon as possible in the event of unexpected absences or lateness. Excessive and unexplained absences or lateness may result in disciplinary action.
Vulgar Language or Inappropriate Jokes:
a. Employees are expected to maintain a professional and respectful workplace environment. The use of vulgar or offensive language, inappropriate jokes, slurs, or derogatory comments related to race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.
b. All employees should refrain from engaging in or tolerating such behavior. Complaints about inappropriate language or jokes should be promptly reported to the appropriate supervisor, manager, or the designated contact person.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. The severity of the consequences will depend on factors such as the nature and frequency of the offense, the impact on the company, and any relevant laws or regulations.
