Paid Time-Off
Time away from work can be extremely helpful for maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Juiced IO INC encourages its staff to take time off when needed. This policy is written with a focus on vacation. If taking time off for medical needs or sick time, whether physical or mental, please follow our Sick Time Policy.
Amount of Paid Time-Off: Employees can request to have 14 calendar days of PTO per year. PTO can be used for any reason such as vacation, sick leave, personal leave, or for other reasons. This is a standard amount of PTO that is offered by many companies in the United States.
If your planned leave exceed 14 calendar day (including weekends), please make sure to reach out to your department manager or head, so adjustments can be made to not interfere with company operations. Staff members may take on pay deductions depending on the additional duration of their leave and the effect the extended leave has on business operations.
Communicating Your Time-Off: Before an employee can begin their PTO, they must submit a request and receive approval from an executive in the company 14 days prior to their planned departure. This ensures that the PTO does not interfere with the company's operations and that there is enough coverage to maintain productivity.
If you are gone for 72 hours without notification, this could be deemed as Job Abandonment and will result in either deduction in payment or termination.
Juiced IO INC does not frown upon people taking time off, but rather encourages people to take care of themselves and others by having some time away. We recognize that it can be helpful to take longer breaks to re-energize yourself.
